The Growth Measurement Reliability Check

Before adding another dashboard, campaign, or tracking tool, answer five questions. If the answers are unclear or contradictory, measurement—not traffic—is probably the first constraint to solve.

  • What business outcome are we trying to improve?
  • Which user action reliably represents that outcome?
  • Where is that action recorded as the source of truth?
  • Can campaign, website, CRM, and revenue data be reconciled?
  • Who will make a different decision when the answer becomes clear?

Explore by problem

Three tracks for clearer growth decisions.

Track 01

Measurement & Attribution

Understand what should be measured, where attribution breaks, and how to separate directional platform reporting from business truth.

Track 02

Analytics Implementation

Translate a measurement plan into reliable GA4, GTM, conversion, consent, CRM, and dashboard foundations.

Track 03

Optimization & Decisions

Turn trustworthy data into prioritised experiments, clearer reviews, and continuous improvement.

Field notes

Three principles worth applying now.

Start with the business event—not the tag

Tracking becomes useful only after the business decision, conversion definition, owner, and source of truth are clear. A technically perfect tag can still measure the wrong thing.

Disagreement is a diagnostic signal

GA4, ad platforms, ecommerce systems, and CRMs use different identities, attribution windows, time zones, consent rules, and definitions. The goal is a documented reconciliation teams can trust.

A dashboard needs a decision attached

Every recurring metric should help someone continue, stop, investigate, or change something. If a chart has no owner, threshold, or decision, it is probably reporting noise.
